I must admit that I have become a bit tired of the nasty back-and-forth that is sometimes typical on the other A-10 board among members of certain programs in the Conference. What other reasons do posters here have for wanting a "fresh start"?
It seems as though the vast majority of our A-10 posters can be at least somewhat objective most of the time. It is reasonable to understand that subjectivity can creep in occasionally to even the most broad-minded of us during stressful times like following an unexpected loss, losing our coach to "greener pastures," missing out on a key recruit, or having one of our star players leave for professional basketball before completing his eligibility. I think we can all accept that.
What is unacceptable is the ploy among certain posters to purposely foment controversy by making wild accusations, creating negative speculation, or using uncomplimentary nicknames to refer to people related directly to another's program (Coach, players, fans, etc.).
Since we already have that type of stuff going on at the other A-10 board, I would hope that this forum would provide an alternative approach to A-10 basketball discussion. If not, what's the point?

My goal is to have a forum that is properly moderated. The new mods at the current A10 forum are better than what we had previously, but they are limited in what they can do simply because we only have one board to post EVERYTHING on.
A forum dedicated to A10 teams allows things to be broken down and pissing matches moved to the appropriate place. Don't care about Dayton? Simply ignore the Dayton board.
This place allows general A10 discussion to happen and to bring A10 fans together while also keeping things separated.
This board also offers chat and I hope to add additional features in in the future.
CUSA used to have a board that was immensely popular called CUSA Talk. It was run by the man who now runs NinerNation.net. It was a common ground where fans of all teams in the conference could discuss conference matters while also having their own spaces. That is what I hope to recreate here.
I have created a facebook page for the board and I intend to leverage some online advertising to drive traffic to the site. I want to introduce disconnected fans of A10 institutions to this place and grow it beyond the handful of members that post on the current A10 forum.

You have the wrong logo above for Fordham. They haven't used that one in years. Check their athletic website for the correct one.
